CHANDA was raised in Sausalito California. She was immersed in a culture rich in fashion, fine arts, health, and beauty. CHANDA is passionate about helping each individual reach their optimal health, appearance, and personal potential. CHANDA understands that you are unique, so she customizes your consultations based on your specific needs. This approach is how she helps you achieve the most positive results possible.
CHANDA brings to CHANDA Luxury Beauty over 35 years of ongoing education in the health and beauty industry. She began her career in San Francisco, California, at Rafiki Salon on Maiden Lane. As an international stylist, specializing in Skin, Scalp, and Hair treatments for all ethnicities, she perfected the technique for chemical hair straightening (retexturing) and color services. CHANDA was the first to create and customize the Rafiki Salon Hair Care and Scalp Care Programs. Advancing her education in color techniques, she was trained in the prestigious L'oreal Technique Professional Color™. To which she later trained other stylists in these techniques and trained extensively with Rene Furterer™ scalp and hair treatments.
With continuing advanced education CHANDA uniquely crafted her Luxury OCEANIC SEA MINERALS SPA COLLECTIONS, inclusive and interchangeable product line for skin, scalp, and hair. She then extended the CHANDA virtual Spa•Salon experience for her clients to enjoy and to gain valuable information and tools on how to more effectively obtain optimal beauty and health of their skin, scalp, hair, and nutrition in-between their Spa Salon visits
Having an appreciation for excellence in service and business, CHANDA expanded her knowledge base and discovered a natural talent in helping others in business who wanted to excel and exceed their client's expectations. She's helped to brand and market several such businesses in the realms of private transportation, skin and hair care products, and food and beverage.
